CHANDIGARH, 15.09.26-Dr. Sagar Preet Hooda, IPS, DGP, Chandigarh and Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, SSP, Chandigarh visited MHC to hear the grievances of the residents.
Col. Gursewak Singh (War Veteran), President, Residents Welfare Association, MHC, Sector-13, Chandigarh, raised several police-related issues concerning MHC. The main issues highlighted were:
1. Strict action against drug traffickers and drug addicts.
2. Traffic issues, including congestion on main roads passing through MHC and unauthorized parking of vehicles on pedestrian pathways.
3. Strengthening of Beat Box staff and foot patrolling to tackle rising crime.
The DGP assured prompt action on all the issues discussed.
