CHANDIGARH, FEBRUARY 19: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, mourns the passing of the revered Jain seer Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj, who breathed his last yesterday. The Governor extends his heartfelt condolences to the entire Jain community and admirers of Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj’s teachings.
Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj, a prominent spiritual leader, was known for his profound wisdom, compassion and dedication to spreading the message of non-violence and harmony. His teachings sermons, writing and poems have left an indelible mark on countless lives, inspiring people to lead a life of righteousness and virtue.
Governor Shri Banwari Lal Purohit remarked, “The demise of Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj is a great loss not only to the Jain community but to humanity as a whole. His exemplary life and teachings have guided many towards the path of peace and enlightenment. We will always cherish his legacy and continue to uphold the values he stood for.”
