CHANDIGARH, APRIL 9: The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, has extended his greetings to the people of Punjab and the Union Territory, Chandigarh, on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir.

In his message, Shri Kataria said that Lord Mahavir was an apostle of ahimsa (non-violence), peace, and harmony, and epitomized the spirit of non-violence, universal brotherhood, compassion, and sacrifice.
