Mahendergarh, 07.09.24-The Training Cell of the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organised a one week training program in collaboration with the Mahindra & Mahindra Group. This program is specifically designed for female students under the Women Empowerment Cell. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University said that program is aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, helping students become job-ready and confident as they enter the workforce. He also said that Central University of Haryana is committed to empowering the next generation of professionals by providing those with the tools they need to succeed and to acquire critical skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
Prof. Vikas Garg, Director of Training Cell at the Central University of Haryana told that this training program was organized in two batches and initially female students from 10 different departments participated in this training program. He further said that this program was designed to help students transition smoothly from the classroom to the professional world, ensuring they are equipped with the skills that employers are actively seeking.
The Training Cell at Central University of Haryana gives utmost importance to assist its students in getting suitable training on all the employability skills so that student can get direction for the placement. The Training cell ensures that every student gets the right skill & domain knowledge so that they are easily acceptable to the industry. The Cell keeps on organising various activities and workshops that enable students to be effective leaders.Mahindra Pride Classroom’ flagship ‘Employability Enhancement Training Program’ is a comprehensive and meticulously curated program. It aims to equip students with life skills (compassion, gratitude, respect, being a responsible citizen), soft skills (grooming, body language, team work, manners, time management), communication skills, presentation skills (speaking coherently and confidently), and interview skills (resume preparation, interview questions, mock interviews). On the last day of the training program Vice-Chancellor interacted with the student and was very happy to hear the feedback of students. He congratulated the whole team of training cell- Director- Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Garg and Deputy Directors- Dr. Divya, Dr. Amit Kumar, Er. Tarun Singh and Dr. Snehsata for the success of the training program.
