Mahendragarh, 17.09.24-An internal hackathon was organized at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh on Tuesday. The objective of this program organized by the Entrepreneur Cell and Centre for Innovation and Incubation of the University was to provide opportunities to eligible talents for the 'Smart India Hackathon 2024' organized by the Ministry of Education and AICTE. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University inspired the youth to make efforts with smart thinking in the interest of the society. The Vice Chancellor said that unless the solution presented by you affects a large section, it will not be established as an excellent effort.
Prof. Vikas Dhawan from IMS, Noida and Prof. Sanjay Bohra from Acharya Narendra Dev College were present as external experts for this program organized in the University. Both of them gave their views on various proposals submitted by about 200 students of the University and said that the students have made commendable efforts for this event. The program started with the lighting of the lamp. Prof. Sunita Tanwar, Convenor of the programme and Entrepreneur Cell presented the welcome address and expressed her gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav, Institute Innovation Council (IIC) President Prof. Sunita Shrivastava and Center for Innovation and Incubation Director Prof. Ashish Mathur.
Prof. Tankeshwar kumar said that the University is constantly working towards innovation and now the time has come that the students should move towards solving such problems, which are directly related to the common people. In his address, the Vice Chancellor mentioned the efforts being made by the University in this direction and said that we are currently providing assistance in developing about 13 projects. This event will also be helpful in developing and nurturing such a mindset among the students. Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University while drawing the attention of the students towards the problem and its solution, said that this event is a platform other than exam competition which gives an opportunity to do something new on a large scale. It is important that we consider that the solution presented by us can become a solution to the problem present in the minds of the people.
Prof. Sunita Srivastava, President, Institute Innovation Council (IIC) said that more than 65 percent of India's population is youth, in such a situation we have a very suitable environment to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. She motivated the students to contribute to the progress of the country through skill development and entrepreneurship development. On this occasion, she expressed her gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of the University for welcoming every positive suggestion of the students. At the end of the program, Prof. Ashish Mathur expressed his gratitude and thanked the dignitaries, experts and the members of the organizing committee, including the co-coordinator of the event Dr. Muralidhar Nayak Bhukya, co-coordinator Dr. Neelam, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Prof. Anand Sharma, and the contributions of Prof. Rajendra Prasad Meena, Prof. Payal Chandel, Dr. Rashmi Tanwar, Dr. Ajaypal, Dr. Abhiranjan, Dr. Vishal Pasricha, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Divya and Dr. Pavitra Kumari were also appreciated.
