MAHENDERGARH, 04.02.25-The Department of Printing and Packaging Technology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized an educational trip for its B.Tech students to the 16th PrintPack India Exhibition at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, on Monday, February 3, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with exposure to the latest advancements in the printing and packaging industry.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of CUH, emphasized the importance of industry visits in technical education. He stated that such initiatives bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, ensuring students are well-prepared for future careers.
Prof. Vikas Garg, Dean and HOD, School of Engineering and Technology, also highlighted the significance of hands-on exposure to industry trends, noting that these visits equip students with a broader perspective on technological advancements and market demands.
The prestigious event, organized by the Indian Printing, Packaging, and Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association (IPAMA), brought together industry experts, innovators, and professionals from across the country and beyond. The trip was sponsored by the Offset Printers Association (OPA), the MoU partner of CUH. On this occasion, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, President OPA; Mr. Jaiveer Singh, President IPAMA; and Mr. Kanwardeep Sharma from KUK played a pivotal role in facilitating the visit.
A total of 36 students from the 2nd and 3rd-year batches of B.Tech Printing and Packaging Technology actively participated in the visit. They had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, innovative machinery, and modern packaging solutions, thereby gaining valuable industry insights and practical knowledge.
Faculty members from the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology, including Dr. Shammi Mehra, Incharge of the Department; Dr. Sandeep Boora; Mr. Anil Kundu; Mr. Tarun Saini; Ms. Suman Kumari; and Mr. Deepak Sharma, accompanied the students and provided guidance throughout the visit.
