Chandigarh Oct 11 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that our government has always been at the forefront for the welfare of the youth and in this sequence, the results of recruitment of 25000 posts are being declared very soon and soon joining letters will also be issued.

Chief Minister was replying to questions of media persons at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi today.

I will take oath later and the joining letters of the youth will be issued first

He said that we have run the government without any slips and expenditure (kharchi-parchi) in the last 10 years and the youth and their parents have reposed their faith in us for the third time. He said that during the last term, when I got the responsibility as the Chief Minister, I had talked about giving new jobs to 50000 youth and out of these 15000 youth were given joining letters in the last term. He said that when we were ready to give joining letters to 25000 youth, the opposition went to the court and also wrote a letter to the Election Commission that these results cannot come out during the elections. In this regard, the Election Commission issued a letter that the results should not be declared until the elections are over. He said that then I had announced that I will take oath later and the joining letters of the youth will be issued first. He said that these results will be released by tonight or tomorrow. He said that our government is a youth friendly government and we have been continuously working for the welfare of the youth and taking them forward is the priority of our government.

Taking a dig at the Congress party, the Chief Minister said that the Congress has worked to shatter the dreams of the youth and tried to impose a ban on declaring the results. He said that we will invite all these youth and their families in the swearing-in ceremony. He said that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi is committed to continuously give momentum to the country and the state on the path of development and in this direction our government will work to provide employment to the youth.

Haryana's youth should become job providers

The CM said that a double engine government is working in Haryana, under which the work of making the youth stand on their feet is going on continuously under many programs like Startup India, Make in India and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana so that they can move themselves and their families forward. He said that we want the youth of Haryana to become job providers and we will keep formulating policies in this regard.

Chief Minister gave greetings and best wishes on the festival of Vijayadashami

On the eve of Vijayadashami, the Chief Minister today congratulated the girls/daughters on the occasion of Ram Navmi on the holy Navratri and Ram Navami. He said that tomorrow is the great festival of Vijayadashami and the whole country celebrates this festival with great joy. He said that these festivals are linked to our culture and traditions. He congratulated and wished all the people of Haryana and the country on the great festival of Vijayadashami.

CM visits grain markets in Kurukshetra, assures to procure every grain

Concerned officers should ensure timely lifting of paddy from the markets, directs CM

Chandigarh, October 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while visiting the grain markets in the Kurukshetra assured that every single grain produced by farmers would be procured. Besides this, he also assured timely payments of the said procurement. He said that the state government is committed to protecting the interests of farmers. All basic facilities have been provided in the markets so that farmers face no difficulties in selling their crops. Additionally, the timely lifting of paddy from the markets will also be ensured, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

The Chief Minister visited the grain markets of Pipli, Ladwa, and Babain in Kurukshetra district. Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Dr. G. Anupama, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Jogpal and Superintendent of Police Sh. Varun Singla welcomed the Chief Minister. Former Minister of State, Sh. Subhash Sudha, was also present on this occasion.

The Chief Minister also checked the moisture content of the paddy using a moisture metre during his visit. He interacted with farmers, Arhtiyas and representatives of Kisan Unions to gather information about the paddy procurement process. He said that the purchase of paddy is proceeding smoothly according to the set parameters. In addition to paddy, the government is also purchasing Bajra.

The Chief Minister also interacted with the Arhtiyas and farmers to understand their issues. Farmers raised concerns about the non-lifting of paddy, non-issuance of RO and other problems. The Chief Minister immediately directed the officers concerned to address these issues and also ensure that farmers should not face any difficulties in the markets. If any local millers are not purchasing or lifting the paddy, another miller can take over the task, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

The Chief Minister said that farmers are free to sell their crops at any market. He also strictly directed the officers that the farmers should not face any problems in the markets. He said that strict action would be taken against any officer found negligent in this work.

Taking a jibe at the Congress party, the Chief Minister said that Congress never rose above corruption and dynastic politics. In the past, they had won power by deceiving people in several states, including Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and others. Congress has lost its credibility .

Later interacting with the media persons, the Chief Minister congratulated the people and party workers on the formation of the BJP government in Haryana for the third time. He expressed gratitude to the public for their support and announced that, in line with a pre-election promise, the examination results for 25,000 posts would be released soon, even before the oath-taking ceremony.

Chandigarh, 11 October: The Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Haryana, has intensified vigilance and is fully prepared to prevent any possible outbreak of Foot Rot disease in the state, which is currently affecting sheep and goats in the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh.

The state government issued an advisory today providing an update on the situation and the preventive measures being implemented in the state.

A spokesperson of the Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department informed that although no case has been reported in Haryana, the department is taking proactive steps to safeguard the livestock from the Foot Rot disease. The disease, which leads to the loss of hooves in affected animals, severely impacts their mobility and can cause substantial economic losses for shepherds and farmers. At present, no vaccine is available for this disease and only strict biosecurity measures can effectively prevent its spread.

The department issued directives for heightened precautions, particularly in areas bordering Himachal Pradesh. Deputy Directors have been instructed to ensure the availability of Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4), Hydrogen Peroxide and Povidone Iodine in all Government Veterinary Hospitals (GVHs) and Government Veterinary Dispensaries (GVDs) across the state.

The department advised shepherds and farmers to remain vigilant by regularly inspecting their livestock for signs of lameness, rotten smell or hoof abnormalities. He emphasized the importance of maintaining proper hygiene in animal houses and pastures and recommended avoiding the introduction of new animals into herds without proper quarantine and health checks. Farmers should report any suspicious symptoms to their local veterinary officer immediately and may also seek assistance via toll-free number 1962.

Two employees suspended for negligence in Paddy Procurement Process

Chandigarh, October 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that farmers and Arhtiyas should not face any difficulties during the paddy procurement process in the ‘mandis’. As soon as farmers bring their paddy to the mandis, the concerned agencies must ensure its purchase according to the rules. In light of negligence in paddy procurement at Ladwa, the Chief Minister directed the suspension of HAFED Manager/Inspector, Kuldeep and DFSC Department, Inspector, Sandeep Ahlawat.

The Chief Minister was on a visit to Pipli, Ladwa, and Babain mandis today.

During the visit to the mandi, Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini directed the officers to ensure that the paddy procurement process runs smoothly and that its lifting is carried out in a timely manner. He emphasised that farmers should receive payments for their crops within the stipulated time. Also, he directed the officers to provide all basic amenities to farmers and Arhtiyas to avoid any inconvenience in selling their produce in the mandis. He also directed that the concerned authorities must ensure that as soon as a farmer brings their paddy crop to the mandi, it should be purchased at the MSP.

In a written communication addressed to all Chief Medical Officers, the Director General of Health Services, Haryana, said that prompt establishment of medical boards will ensure that the medical examinations for the successful candidates are conducted as swiftly as possible.
