Chandigarh:21.12.24- Maharishi Dayanand Public School's annual festival concluded with great pomp. The program was inaugurated by NRI Sudarshan Garg, Anita Garg and Babita Kalia from Chicago, USA by lighting the lamp. DAV College Managing Committee New Delhi's Secretary Ravinder Talwar was present as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Former Deputy Mayor Anil Dubey. Benu Rao, and Amit Garg were present as guests of honour. Nikhar Anand Midda and Payal from NA Cultural Society and Anita Midda, Sarvani , Usha Sharma and Nisha from Inner Wheel Chandigarh City Beautiful were special invitees. While presenting the drama on social media, the children told that along with social media, we should also pay attention to our studies and health.

Manikarnika dance was very beautiful. While presenting the drama on child labour, the students gave the message that childhood is for studies and not for earning livelihood. Through Qawwali, the children made the annual function charming. Bam-Bam Bhole dance forced everyone to dance. Highlighting the importance of parents, the students presented the role of parents in a commendable manner. Kashmiri dance showed the diversity of India. Through the drama Anandibai Joshi, emphasis was laid on the education of girls.

Chief guest Ravinder Talwar praised the performance of the students. He said that the program shows that the school is paying full attention to the all-round development of the students. He suggested the students, parents and school staff to continue working hard in future as well.

While presenting the annual report, the school Principal Dr. Vinod Sharma told that this school is providing quality education in the rural area. School's Vice Principal Anju Modgil expressed her gratitude to all the dignitaries present. During the program, school's patron NRI Sudarshan Garg and Anil Dubeyvalso addressed.
