Oath Ceremony on October 17: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, October 12 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the oath ceremony of the state government will take place on October 17, 2024. The Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony, along with top leaders of the BJP.

The Chief Minister was interacting with the journalists on Saturday in Kurukshetra district.

The Chief Minister expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic incident in Kaithal and stated that the state government stands with them in this moment of grief.

The Chief Minister stated that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the double-engine government has worked for the welfare of every section of society over the past 10 years. By effectively implementing government schemes at the grassroots level, the benefits have been delivered to eligible beneficiaries.

Taking a jibe at the opposition, he said that they are embroiled in corruption, and accused them of spreading lies to seize power in Himachal, Karnataka, and Telangana, but the public now understands this and has lost trust in them, said the Chief Minister.

Former Minister, Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha, along with several other dignitaries, remained present on the occasion.

Chandigarh, October 12 – Extending heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Vijayadashami, Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that this day marks the eternal victory of righteousness, justice, truth, and virtue over unrighteousness and injustice. It inspires everyone to abandon their inner evils and walk on the path of humanity. He said that everyone should take a pledge today to renounce their inner flaws, so that we may contribute to building a civilised and cultured society.

The Chief Minister stated that today is a day of pride and honour, a festival celebrated together with culture and values. On this day, Lord Rama achieved victory over Lanka. He wished that Lord Rama's blessings be with everyone, bringing economic prosperity and well-being to the state.

At a program organised in Panchkula, the Chief Minister completed the symbolic burning of Ravana by pressing a remote button. The Ramlila, organised by the Mata Mansa Devi Charitable Trust, had been running for several days, culminating today in the burning of the largest Ravana effigy in the Tricity area, standing at 151 feet. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced a contribution of Rs.5 lakh to the Trust.

BJP State President, Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli, former Assembly Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, and several other dignitaries and officers remained present during the occasion.

Haryana Government has decided to grant relaxation regarding verification of character and antecedents of candidates, medical certificate of fitness to all the candidates recommended by HPSC/HSSC for a post of Group A, B, C and D.

Chandigarh, October 12: Haryana Government has decided to grant relaxation regarding verification of character and antecedents of candidates, medical certificate of fitness to all the candidates recommended by HPSC/HSSC for a post of Group A, B, C and D. The verification of character and antecedents will be done within a period of three months from the date of joining.

Giving information about the same, an official spokesperson said that a letter in this regard has been sent from the Chief Secretary’s office to all Administrative Secretaries and all Heads of the Departments of the State.

The spokesperson said that as per provision in rules/instructions, no person can be appointed to Government service without his verification of character and antecedent, medical certificate of fitness and many times it becomes difficult for the concerned authorities to issue the certificates with in a very limited period; hence the government has decided to give relaxation in this regard.

Spokesperson said that as per this decision, candidates will have to submit a medical certificate within a period of two months from the date of joining. Besides this, the work of matching biometric/facial verification attendance of the candidates sent by HPSC/HSSC will be done within two weeks from the date of joining.

The spokesperson said that it will be specifically mentioned in the provisional appointment letter that in case of unfitness in any conditions, the services of newly appointed employees will be terminated immediately without any notice.
