Ministers express gratitude to CM, say they will live up to hopes and expectations of people

Chandigarh, October 18 -The newly inducted Cabinet Ministers of Haryana took charge of their respective offices today in the presence of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini at the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh.

The Chief Minister first made Cabinet Minister Sh. Anil Vij take charge and congratulated him by presenting a bouquet and sweets. Sh. Anil Vij, while interacting with the media, expressed happiness on the occasion and said the present government will not only run non-stop like the previous two terms but will do so at the “speed of the metro”. In response to a question, he said whatever responsibility was given to him in the past, he had fulfilled it with full devotion and will continue to do so in the future as well.

Sh. Anil Vij said the result of exams for about 25,000 jobs that has come out is being discussed not only in the state but in the entire country as well. People are writing on social media that youths of their village have got jobs without any recommendation or bribe. He termed jobs being given on merit as a revolution in the country.

While talking to the media, Cabinet Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said our government has fulfilled its promise of providing employment to the youth as soon as it took charge. The government has given a Diwali gift by giving jobs to about 25,000 youth. The Central government and the state are working in accordance with the ideals of the Constitution and the Constitution is in safe hands, he said.

After assuming office, Cabinet Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said the promises made to the people of the state in the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled on priority. At the same time, the problem of waterlogging in Gurugram, which is known as the economic capital of the state, will also be solved soon. He said conservation of the environment is not only the responsibility of the government but of the general public as well.

Cabinet Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said the goal of our government is to make the life of the needy, poor, youth and farmers easier. Jobs have been given to the youth on merit and in future also these will be given with the same spirit. Farmers' crops are being purchased on MSP, which has provided relief to them, he added.

Cabinet Minister Sh. Vipul Goel said he will live up to the trust reposed in him by the people of the state. He assured the public that his priority is to implement BJP's Sankalp Patra. He believes only in the policy of development. He will now work to make Faridabad a developed city. Along with this, he will also complete the development works on priority.

Cabinet Minister Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma, after assuming the charge, said people have expressed faith in the policies of the BJP. Now, he will try to live up to the expectations and utilise this opportunity given to him by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini to serve the people.

Cabinet Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said today Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's name is known all over the world and this is the reason that the BJP has formed government in the state for a record third time.

Cabinet Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said apart from solving the main problems of Barwala constituency, his primary objective would be to get the promises made in the party's manifesto fulfilled. Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said the BJP government formed in the state for the third time will write new chapters of development. He said he will fully live up to the trust of the people.

Cabinet Minister Smt. Shruti Choudhary said women empowerment and farmers’ welfare will be the priorities of our government. She said in the Assembly elections, people have given a befitting reply to the Congress party through their vote. She said today is a historic day for her. She thanked Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for giving her a Cabinet berth. She said she considers the people of Tosham as her family and will try her best to fulfil all their needs and ensure its holistic development.

Cabinet Minister Kumari Arti Singh Rao said she had got an opportunity to serve the people of Haryana. She thanked the people of the state for reposing faith in her and ensuring her victory.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) Sh. Gaurav Gautam said under the leadership of the Chief Minister, we will work as a team. He said we are confident that Haryana will move forward non-stop and the state will write its name in golden letters among the advanced states of the country.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) Sh. Rajesh Nagar also assumed charge of his office and thanked Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for giving him an opportunity to serve the people of the state.

After assuming charge, all the ministers expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and said they will live up to the hopes and expectations of the people, who had given the BJP an opportunity to serve the people for the third time. The first formal meeting of the Cabinet has been held and soon departments will be allotted to the ministers.

We are committed to procure every single grain produced by farmers, CM

Rs. 3,387 crores transferred into the accounts of the farmers for the purchase of paddy and Bajra

Chandigarh, October 18 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is committed to procure every single grain produced by farmers.

Addressing a press conference after presiding over the first meeting of the newly formed Cabinet today, the Chief Minister said that so far, 30 lakh MT of paddy has arrived in the Mandis, of which 25,55,319 MT have been purchased at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Furthermore, payments amounting to Rs. 3,056 crores have already been directly credited to the farmers' accounts for the purchase of paddy. Additionally, 13,90,199 MT of paddy have been lifted from the mandis, shared Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

The Chief Minister said that during the current Kharif season, 3.47 lakh MT of Bajra has arrived in the mandis, of which 3.05 LMT have already been purchased. Furthermore, 1,14,358 MT have been lifted from the mandis. He also informed that Rs. 331 crores have been directly credited to farmers' accounts for the purchase of Bajra.

Responding to a question regarding incidents of stubble burning, the Chief Minister said that there has been a reduction in stubble burning incidents in Haryana. The Supreme Court has also praised the state's farmers on this issue. He said that the State government has been continuously raising awareness among farmers to prevent stubble burning and is providing various subsidized equipment for stubble management to fully control these incidents.

Chandigarh, October 18- The Haryana Cabinet met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, today approved the recommendations of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Commission's report to divide the reservation for Scheduled Castes after the decision of the Supreme Court and also approved it to append to the rules of Business of the State Government.

The recommendations of the report are as under:-

As a result of contemporaneous study conducted by this Commission to assess the representation of Deprived Scheduled Castes in Government Services, this Commission has come to the conclusion that the Deprived Scheduled Castes are not adequately represented in the state's government services whereas Other Scheduled Castes of are represented more than adequately in the state's government services in comparison to their proportion of their population in the SC category in the state.

Moreover, the Commission has clearly found that the reservations for Scheduled Castes in the Haryana Government services in Groups A, B and C are skewed towards castes in Other Scheduled Castes and reservations for Scheduled Castes in the Haryana Government's Services in Group D is skewed towards the Deprived Scheduled Castes. Therefore, sub classification by the state government is required to ensure the equality of opportunity and to ensure adequate representation in public employment.

On the basis of the judgment dated, 1.08.2024 of the seven-judge constitutional bench of the Supreme Court allowing sub-classification of scheduled castes by the state governments, the Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes recommends the following course of action for sub-classifications of Scheduled Castes and the principle of reservation within the category of scheduled castes.

For the purpose of sub- classified reservations in services, the scheduled castes in Haryana shall be in two categories- ie. Deprived Scheduled Castes (DSC)' and Other Scheduled Castes (OSC)'. Other Scheduled Castes will consist of Chamar. Jatia Chamar, Rehgar, Raigar, Ramdasi, Ravidasi, Balahi, Batoi, Bhatoi, Bhambi, Chamar-Rohidas, Jatav, Jatava, Mochi, Ramdasia. Deprived Scheduled Castes (DSC) will consist Balmiki, Chura, Bhangi, Dhanak, Od., Bazigar, Mazhabi, Mazhabi Sikh, Ad Dharmi - Aheria, Aheri, Hari, Heri, Thori, Turi, Kori, Koli, Pherera- Rai Sikh, Pasi, Batwal, Barwala, Bauria, Bawaria, Megh, Meghwal, Khatik, Kabirpanthi, Julaha, Sansi, Bhedkut, Manesh, Dumna, Mahasha, Doom, Sikligar, Bariya, Sapela, Sapera, Sirkiband, Deha, Dhaya, Dhea, Nat, Badi, Bhanjra, Bangali, Barar, Burar, Berar, Sanhai, Perna, Gandhila, Gandil, Gondola, Dhogri, Dhangri, Siggi, Marija, Marecha, Chanal, Dagi, Darain, Sanhal, Gagra, Sansoi and Sarera.

Within the 20% quota reserved for scheduled castes in direct recruitment to Government Services, one half or 10% quota will be reserved for candidates from Deprived Scheduled Castes. If and only if suitable candidates from Deprived Scheduled Castes are not available, the candidate from Other Scheduled Castes may be considered for appointment to fill up the balance vacant posts.

Similarly, one half of the or 10% quota will be reserved for candidates from Other Scheduled Castes. If and only if suitable candidates from Other Scheduled Castes are not available, the candidates from Deprived Scheduled Castes may be considered for appointment to fill up the balance vacant posts.

The inter seniority of the candidates from Deprived Scheduled Castes and Other Scheduled Castes will be as per the common merit list prepared by the recruiting agency. It will not be necessary to fix the roster points, separately for each of the Blocks within the present roster system. The Scheduled Caste list shall be updated from time to time, upon notification issues by Central Government in this regard.

Currently, patients who undergo dialysis sessions will be directly benefited

Chandigarh, October 18: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, shortly after assuming office here today, has provided significant relief to kidney patients in the State.

The Chief Minister has approved free dialysis services for patients suffering from serious kidney disease in the state. This initiative will directly benefit patients who are currently undergoing dialysis sessions. The Haryana government will bear the expenditure of these critical services.

While addressing a press conference here today, the Chief Minister said that at present a patient has to spend an average of Rs 2500 per session in government hospitals for dialysis. Thus, this cost of dialysis reaches up to 20 to 25 thousand rupees. Now, by getting free dialysis service from the government, the patients will get a big relief from this huge expenditure.

It is worth mentioning that this initiative of the government will give impetus towards increasing the access of the general public to health services and improving the quality of life of needy persons. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce the financial burden on patients and their families. At present, this service is available in 20 district hospitals - Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind and Kaithal. Apart from this, this facility is available in 3 medical colleges - Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal, Shaheed Hassan Khan Mewati Medical College in Nuh and Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Medical College, Rohtak. This service will also be extended to all the upcoming medical colleges and health facilities in the state.

Chandigarh, October 18 – Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini expressed gratitude to the people of the state for re-electing the Bharatiya Janata Party government with a significant majority for the third consecutive term. He said that, following the policies of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the government will work resolutely for the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers, and women's empowerment. New decisions will be made based on the needs of every sector and community, and ongoing initiatives in the state will be carried forward non-stop. Haryana's role will be more important in the resolution of Viksit Bharat.

The Chief Minister made these remarks during a press conference after chairing the first meeting of the newly formed cabinet here today.

The public demolished the narrative of Congress and gave full majority to BJP

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that the people of the state have endorsed the welfare policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi with a substantial majority for the third consecutive time. He said that voters have rejected the narrative crafted by the opposition during the elections. The opposition made use of sportspersons in the election, attempted to mislead farmers and engaged with youth on issues like "parchi-kharchi” in recruitment process. The underlying message of such statements was one of corruption. The youth recognized that the corrupt practices in job allocations prior to 2014 could resurface. However, the people of the state dismantled Congress's narrative and granted a decisive majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He said that just as he has assumed the charge of Chief Minister today, about 25,000 youth have also secured jobs in the state. He remarked that this is a government elected by the poor, with 2.80 crore people placing their trust in the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He highlighted that in the past 10 years, the double-engine government has made historic decisions for the welfare of all sections of society. When seeking support from the public during the recent elections, people openly backed the policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, rejecting the opposition's propaganda and responding by pressing the lotus button, he added.

Chief Minister warns those involved in criminal activities

The Chief Minister issued a stern warning to individuals engaged in criminal activities, stating that they must either reform themselves or leave the state. He said that there is no place for such individuals in Haryana. The state government is committed to ensuring the safety and security of every citizen.

"Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Rules, 2012".

Chandigarh, October 18 - Haryana Government has made rules to amend the "Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Rules, 2012".

Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson of the Industries and Commerce Department said that these rules may be called the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies (Amendment) Rules, 2024.

The spokesperson said that in the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Rules, 2012 in rule 8, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted namely:- (1) Every existing Society shall apply to the District Registrar for allotment of a new registration number in Form-VI on payment of fee set out in the Schedule of fees contained in Appendix-I. The Society shall file application and submit the requisite documents alongwith a certificate from the office bearer duly authorized by the Governing Body to the effect that the Memorandum and the Byelaws of the Society, as being presented before the District Registrar, conform to the provisions of the Act and the model bye-laws".
