CHANDIGARH, 17.11.24-The 33^rd Annual Convocation of Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45-B, Chandigarh was organized on 17^th November, 2024 to confer degrees to the students of batch of 2022-23. The ceremony began with the blessings of Shriman Nirmal Singh Dhillon Ji, Chairman, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee.

Prof (Dr) Sanjay Kaushik, Dean, College Development Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the worthy Chief Guest for the function. Prof(Dr) Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee , Mr Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Joint Secretary, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee were the Guests of Honour for the occasion. In presence were also other members of the College management. Principal, Prof (Dr) Neeru Malik presented an overview of the college and a report on the previous academic session. In his convocation address, Prof Kaushik hailed achievements of the college, and motivated the students to move ahead in life. He said that it is important for young women to get higher education which is instrumental for them to follow their dreams. He further emphasized that the youth needs to give back to their Alma Mater and the country to fulfill the dream of Viksit Bharat 2047. Over 250 students from different postgraduate and undergraduate courses received their degrees.

The Chief Guest was presented a token of gratitude by Prof (Dr) Agnese Dhillon, and Prof (Dr) Neeru Malik .Students were overwhelmed upon receiving their degrees and parted with an emotional heart.
