MAHENDERGARH, 22.11.24-The valedictory session of the ten-day research workshop at the Central University of Haryana was a resounding success, marked by insightful deliberations and heartfelt expressions of gratitude. This workshop was sponsored by Indian council of social science research. Across the country 30 participants has attended this workshop and learnt the different research methodologies and understand the contemporary research areas. The session commenced with the welcome address by Ms. Radhika, who invited Professor Ranjan Aneja, Dean of the School of Business and Management Studies, Central university of Haryana & convenor of the workshop and Professor Sushila Soriya, co-convenor of the workshop to facilitate the dignitaries on the dais.
Professor Ranjan Aneja facilitated the Chief Guest, Professor Pawan Kumar Sharma, from the Central University of Haryana, and presented a concise summary of the workshop. Following this, Professor Sushila Soriya, from the Department of Commerce, Central University of Haryana, facilitated the Guest of Honor, Professor Surender Mor, from BPS Women’s University, Khanpur. In her conclusive remarks, Professor Sushila Soriya highlighted the significance of the workshop and expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and participants for their active involvement. She acknowledged the collective efforts that made the event a success.
Professor Pawan Kumar Sharma, Dean Research, CUH has elaborated on the importance of interdisciplinary research and the need for collaborations in today’s research ecosystem. He explained that research is a journey from the known to the unknown, stressing that identifying research gaps is crucial as they lay the foundation for meaningful inquiry. Additionally, he underlined the importance of research ethics and warned against manipulative practices that can undermine research credibility. Professor Surender Mor shared his profound insights on the importance of research diversification and its implications for policymakers. He emphasized that diversified research can bridge gaps in various domains, ultimately benefiting society.
Participants shared their feedback, highlighting how the workshop enriched their research skills and broadened their perspectives. The session concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants by the dignitaries, acknowledging their active participation and dedication throughout the workshop.
