Ludhiana 13 February 2025-The Girls Hostel at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University hosted a spectacular cultural night “Mehfill-e-Qurbat” filled with vibrant performances and lively music. Students showcased their diverse talents through various cultural items, including dance performances, musical acts and skits, keeping everyone engaged and entertained.

The highlight of the evening was an energetic dance-off to the latest DJ beats, where students danced their hearts out, celebrating the spirit of camaraderie and unity.

Dr. Jatinder Paul Singh Gill, Vice Chancellor along with his wife Mrs. Pawanjeet Gill graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director Students' Welfare also attended the occasion along with his better half. Wardens of different hostels also attended the event. Dr Gill praised the students for their remarkable performances and emphasized the importance of such events in providing a healthy outlet for stress relief. He mentioned that these activities foster creativity and well-being, allowing students to relax and recharge for their academic pursuits.

Drs. Shabnam Sidhu and L. Geeta Devi the wardens were also lauded for their excellent organization of the event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and was a memorable experience for everyone involved.
