Chandigarh,12.01.24-NSS Open Unit, Chandigarh successfully concluded seven Day-Night Special NSS Camp at Govt. Model High School(RC-II), Dhanas.

Sh. Vineet Joshi, Chairman, Joshi Foundation joined the function as Chief Guest with Dr. Arun Bansal, Admin, Social Substance and Smt. Ravinder Kaur, Principal GMHS (RC-II) at Dhanas. Sh. Vineet Joshi congratulated NSS Programme Officer for leading the cause and narrated life sketch of the Lord Rama to NSS volunteers and emphasised to adopt their character in society. Dr. Arun Bansal encouraged volunteers to carry forward the cause.

Guests felicitated to NSS volunteers with trophies and medals. Unit Coordinator Ms. Ritika Verma said that 45 NSS Volunteers joined activities of Swachata abhiyan, Self Defence by Chandigarh Police, Nukkad natak, Mass rallies etc. for community and skill development. Ritika is pursuing her PhD in Anthropology and did M.Sc. with distinction from Panjab University. Mr. Abhi Thakur student coordinater managed camp well. Er. Binesh Bhatia, NSS Programme Officer thanked all stakeholders, school administration for all support.
