CHANDIGARH, 11.09.24-The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, organized a workshop on “System and Procedure of the Organization” as a precursor to Vigilance Awareness Week 2024. This initiative was held in line with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), New Delhi, which has advised all organizations to undertake a three-month campaign from August 16, 2024, to November 15, 2024.

Dr. Sunil K. Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at PGIMER, delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation on the Institute's Systems and Procedures. The PowerPoint presentation presented by the officer aimed to raise awareness among employees, contributing to the institute’s ongoing capacity-building efforts. The workshop saw active participation from 50 individuals, including doctors, nursing staff, paramedical personnel, and administrative employees.
This initiative represents a significant step towards fostering a culture of systematic improvement, enhancing productivity and vigilance at PGIMER, underscoring the Institution’s commitment to ethical practices and transparent governance.
