Chandigarh,27.11.24- A delegation of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Chandigarh Chapter led by its Chairman Dr. Rupesh Singh met Vimal Setia, IAS, Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Punjab. Dr. Rupesh apprised him of the activities and working of the nationwide body PRCI. He said that PRCI has not only been strengthening PR professionals in their field of work but also motivating youth at school and college level in the field of public relations and communications through its program Young Communicators Club (YCC). During the meeting, the delegation also proposed to designate Vimal Setia as the Patron of PRCI, which he accepted unconditionally. It was also proposed to organise Regional PR Conference and make PR persons of the DIPR as members of the PRCI. He assured PRCI that his department will provide all possible help to PRCI to fulfill its objectives and PRCI should soon give yearly calendar of its programs in which his department can cooperate so that maximum benefits can be provided to the professionals related to this field..
