MAHENDERGARH, 30.11.24-In a unique initiative, students of the 5th semester LLB programme from the Department of Law at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh have been deployed to all police stations in Mahendergarh district. This collaboration between the Department of Law and the police department aims to facilitate discussions on the newly enacted three criminal laws.
The students will work closely with police personnel to gain practical insights into the implementation of these laws. This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between CUH and the police department, which will include training sessions, lectures, and seminars in the future.
Dr. Pardeep Singh, Dean and Head of the Department of Law, flagged off the teams of students with police personnel. He highlighted the positive outcomes of this collaboration, praising Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CUH, and the Superintendent of Police of Mahendergarh for their support.
This innovative partnership is expected to enhance the students' understanding of the criminal justice system and provide them with hands-on experience in applying theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Prof Sunil Kumar, Registrar appreciated the efforts of Department of law and district police. This collaboration will foster a spirit of mutual learning, growth, and development, ultimately contributing to a more effective and efficient criminal justice system.
