Chandigarh, January 13: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini celebrated the Lohri festival in the Ladwa constituency. He also announced development projects worth Rs.10.42 crore for the constituency including Rs. 4.70 crore for development projects in Ladwa, Rs. 2.72 crore for a community center in Bir Mathana village, Rs. 3 crore for a community center in Ram Saran Majra village. Out of this total amount Rs. 8.12 crore has already been released. Besides this, the renovation of 15 roads has been completed, and work on the remaining roads will commence soon.
Former Minister, Sh. Subhash Sudha organised a Lohri celebration for the people of Ladwa assembly witnessing participation from thousands of people. Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and BJP State President Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli celebrated the Lohri festival.
Meanwhile speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister wished for happiness and enthusiasm in everyone’s lives. Lohri is a symbol of our rich culture and traditions, offering an opportunity to connect with our roots and remember our ancestors. He extended warm wishes for Lohri and Makar Sankranti to the people of Haryana. India’s unity in diversity is beautifully represented in this festival, said the Chief Minister.
Punjabi singer Sunita Dua Sehgal and her team captivated the audience with traditional Punjabi folk songs. Haryanvi and Punjabi melodies further enriched the festival, making the Lohri celebration in Ladwa both historic and unforgettable.

Chandigarh, January 13 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is fulfilling the dreams of youth by following the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda. The present state government has provided jobs to youth based on merit. The state's goal is to make every youth skilled and financially prosperous by 2030. To achieve this goal, various plans are being implemented with effective steps, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while addressing the people during an event organized by the Swami Vivekananda Utthan Samiti in village Karasan, Ambala district.
Earlier, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the statue of Swami Vivekananda. On this occasion, the chairman and office bearers of the Swami Vivekananda Utthan Samiti welcomed the Chief Minister with a bouquet and a memento.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini extended his greetings and best wishes for the festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti to the people of the country and state. Our country is known for its festivals, each of which has its own special significance. Swami Vivekananda had worked to bring India’s culture and glory to the world, he said.
Paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister called on the youth to stay away from drugs. He said that Swami Vivekananda is an inspiration to the youth, which is why his birth anniversary is celebrated as National Youth Day.
Chief Minister Urges Youth to participate in Politics
The Chief Minister said that in the last 10 years, the present state government has provided more than 1.71 lakh government jobs to youth based on merit, without any favoritism or corruption. He said that through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, the government has not only provided jobs but also ensured job security for the youth.
The Chief Minister also urged the youth to participate in politics. He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has called upon the youth of the country that they should come forward in active politics, because youth are the future of this country.
Chief Minister stops his Convoy to listens to people's issues
During his visit, the Chief Minister especially stopped his convoy and interacted with the villagers, listening to their issues and complaints. On a complaint regarding electricity, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to resolve the issue.

Nayab Singh Saini, while targeting the Opposition, said that during the Assembly elections, the Opposition played politics of lies and promised to give jobs in exchange for votes, but the people of the state showed the mirror to those who wanted to sell government jobs and elected a BJP government again. Today, the child of a poor person in the state is becoming successful on the basis of his hard work, because the atmosphere has changed due to the basic mantra of BJP of giving jobs without 'kharchi-parchi'.
The Chief Minister had arrived at the Abhinandan Samman Samaroh organized by Rashtrasant, Mahayogi, Upadhyayshree Dr. Gupti Sagar Gurudev at Gupti Dham premises located in Ganaur of Sonipat district on Monday. The Chief Minister took blessings of the saints of the Jain community and wished the people on Lohri and Makar Sankranti. He announced to give Rs 31 lakh for the Gupti Dham.
The Chief Minister said with the blessings of Gupti Sagar Ji Maharaj and with the support of the public, the BJP government has been formed in Haryana for the third time. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the Haryana Government has continuously developed the state in the last 10 years. The state government is taking steps for the welfare of every section.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said before taking oath, our government gave jobs to 24,000 youth without 'parchi-kharchi'. Today, even a child from a poor family is getting a job on big posts in the Haryana Government. He said that as soon as the government was formed, we took many decisions for the welfare of the people. We started free dialysis facility for kidney patients. Apart from this, we passed a Bill in the Assembly to give ownership rights of land at collector rate to the people who have been living in houses built on panchayat land for a long time. He said that in the last 10 years, strong development work has been done in Haryana. The present government is working in the interest of the poor.

The Chief Minister said the Opposition leaders wanted to create the same kind of environment this time as well, which was in the state before 2014. But the people of Haryana defeated the politics of lies and gave a befitting reply by forming the government of the BJP in the state.
Haryana Government will soon give plots to 1 lakh people in the state
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said as per the promise of providing a roof over every head, plots will soon be provided to one lakh poor people in the state, and for this, the government has prepared a complete plan. He said that the previous governments only made announcements of giving plots of 100-100 square yards, but neither any papers were given to the poor, nor the possession of the plot. Understanding the pain of those people, the present state government has done the work of giving the registry and possession of the plots to the people.

The experiences and excellent suggestions of the youth will also be reflected in Haryana's budget.,
The Chief Minister, while presiding over a pre-budget consultation meeting with youth at Kurukshetra University on Monday. Sports Minister Sh. Gaurav Gautam also remained present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister extended greetings and best wishes for the Lohri and Makar Sankranti festivals to the people of Haryana. He said that the state government's vision for the upcoming budget is to meet the expectations and hopes of every Haryanvi and bring prosperity to the general public.
The Chief Minister said that today, youth from Super 100, startups, and young entrepreneurs have given valuable suggestions for the budget. He emphasised that the suggestions received from youth in the previous budget were included, and this time, a portal has been launched to get suggestions from the general public. Anyone can provide suggestions on any field or topic through this portal, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

Youth should carefully listen to the Chief Minister's Budget Speech, urges Sh. Rajesh Khullar
The Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar said that Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has initiated a new approach for this year’s budget. For the first time, citizens from Haryana, as well as others, can submit their suggestions online for the upcoming budget. He appealed to the youth to carefully listen to the Chief Minister's speech on the budget during the budget session.
407 suggestions were included in the last budget- Anurag Rastogi
Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi said that the present state government has included 407 suggestions from the general public in the budgets over the past five years. Similarly, this year, public suggestions will also be incorporated into the sixth budget.
Representatives from the industry partners, including Hero Motor Limited, Isgec company, Yamunanagar, and IDR, suggested improving coordination between industries and educational institutions for skill development and better opportunities.

Ensure resolution of people’s problems on priority basis, Rao Narbir Singh tells officials
Industry Minister presides over meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Faridabad
Chandigarh, January 13 - Haryana's Industry & Commerce and Environment & Forest Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said officers should be accountable towards the public and ensure resolution of people's problems on a priority basis so that people do not have to make unnecessary rounds of their offices.
He was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Faridabad on Monday. A total of 18 complaints were placed in the committee meeting, out of which 12 complaints were resolved promptly and the concerned officers were directed to take necessary action for the resolution of the remaining six complaints.
Sh. Rao Narbir Singh wished the people of the district a Happy New Year along with greetings on Lohri and Makar Sankranti festival and wished everyone a bright future. He said the Haryana Government is working by dedicating itself to public service and setting a goal for the upliftment of every section of society.
While hearing the complaints in the meeting, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said officers and employees should take steps towards resolving complaints when they receive them offline or online and instead of repeatedly raising objections on any file, they should inform the complainant about the prescribed rules only once and ensure that the complaints are resolved. While hearing a complaint related to the Civil Surgeon and Police Commissioner in the meeting, he directed to constitute an inquiry committee under the chairmanship of ADC on the demand of the complainant and provide relief to the complainant.
In another complaint, the Industry Minister took cognizance of the complaint and ordered to refer it to the State Crime Branch. While hearing a complaint related to the District Senior Town Planner, the Industry Minister ordered the concerned Tehsildar in the WTC area not to register any registry in the said designated area.
MLAs Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Sh. Dhanesh Adlakha, Sh. Satish Phagna and Sh. Raghubir Singh Tewatia were also present in the meeting.

Haryana to celebrate National Voters’ Day with pledge to staff, literary competitions in educational institutes
Chandigarh, January 13 – The Haryana Government has decided to administer voters’ pledge and conduct a variety of activities on the occasion of National Voters’ Day, which is celebrated on January 25 every year. The schools and educational institutes of the state have been directed to conduct activities such as debates, discussions and competitions (including quiz, drawing, skit, song, painting, essay etc.) as part of the Voters’ Day celebrations or during the run up to National Voters’ Day on the theme of ‘Nothing like voting. I vote for sure’.
Chief Secretary Dr. Vivek Joshi has written a letter in this regard to all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, MDs of Boards/Corporations, Deputy Commissioners and Vice-Chancellors/Registrars of universities in the state, wherein they have been asked to direct the staff under them to take the National Voters’ Day (NVD) pledge on January 25.
The letter states that the Election Commission of India has declared its foundation day as National Voter's Day. This day is celebrated every year on January 25 across the country from the polling station level to block, assembly constituency, district and state level. The main objective of celebrating this day is to spread awareness among the general public to get every eligible citizen included as a voter in the voter list. Also, its objective is to promote electoral participation by organizing various activities like rangoli-making, essay writing, speech competitions, rallies, parade contingents, street plays etc. by school and college students at the block, district and state level in collaboration with various government and non-government agencies.
The Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments have been asked to make their employees take the following oath on National Voters’ Day, "We, the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any other inducement."
The logo for National Voters’ Day, which reinforces the importance of voting, is to be used on official stationery, merchandise, websites etc. The photographs of all these events/activities shall be uploaded using the hashtag #NVD2025 on the respective social media handles or website of the universities/departments.
