MAHENDERGARH, 24.03.25-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, has earned a prominent place in the prestigious Nature Index, published by the renowned journal Nature. The index ranks the research output of various Indian universities, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). In the high-quality research output category, Haryana Central University secured the 94th position, a remarkable improvement from the 152nd position it held in 2023.
Expressing satisfaction with the University’s progress in 2024, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar acknowledged the commitment of the University’s stakeholders in improving its position in education, research, and innovation. He dedicated this achievement to the university's researchers and faculty members.
It is important to note that the Nature Index ranks institutions based on publications in internationally recognized research journals in the fields of natural sciences and health sciences. These journals are selected by an independent panel of leading scientists based on their reputation in the respective fields. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) ranked first in terms of research contributions.
Prof. Surendra Singh, Deputy Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), stated that the University continues to work diligently in advancing research to contribute to the nation’s development. He emphasized that CUH is making remarkable progress on an international scale and, under the leadership and guidance of the Vice-Chancellor, is achieving significant results in the field of research. This accomplishment is a testament to those efforts.
