Haryana Tourism Corporation will be organizing the 1st Diwali Utsav-2023 in Surajkund, Faridabad from 3rd November to 10th November, 2023 to create a memorable Diwali experience for visitors, tourists, and local people alike.
The aim of this event is to create an inclusive and engaging experience for people of all backgrounds, enabling them to embrace and appreciate the rich local traditions and values associated with this auspicious occasion.
The event will provide an opportunity for our local sellers to come and showcase their products and crafts to a wide range of audience. It will also enable visitors to witness mesmerizing cultural performances, indulge in delicious Indian cuisine, participate in traditional art and craft activities, and engage in interactive workshops.
For an exclusive experience for Diwali shoppers, the event will be divided into various zones offering different products viz: - Swadeshi Zone , Cultural Zone, Food Zone, and Funfair Zone
Swadeshi Zone will cater to Made in India products to promote indigenous goods, support local industries, and encourage the spirit of self-reliance. The Swadeshi Zone will offer exhibition stalls for Handicrafts and Artisans, Traditional Clothing and Accessories, Organic and Natural Products, Ayurveda products etc
The Cultural Zone at the "Diwali Mela-2023" will be the focal point of the event, showcasing the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. This zone will offer a kaleidoscope of traditional performances, art forms, and activities such as, traditional Dances, Music and Instrumental Performances, Traditional Theater, Rangoli etc
The Food Zone will offer an array of delectable dishes from different regions of India, representing the country's/ State’s culinary diversity. Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in traditional Indian delicacies like sweets (mithai), savory snacks (chaats), regional specialties, and street food. It will be a gastronomic delight, offering something for every palate
The Funfair Zone will be the entertainment hub of the Diwali Mela. It will host various amusement rides, games, and other fun activities suitable for people of all ages. This zone is designed to create a joyful and festive atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience of the event and to revel in the festive spirit of Diwali.
Diwali Utsav will not only celebrate the vibrant Indian culture but also foster unity, harmony, and a sense of togetherness among our diverse community members. This event will serve as a wonderful platform to promote cultural awareness and appreciation while creating memorable experiences for all attendees.
The Diwali Mela will also witness a grand "Deepotsav" where thousands of Diyas (oil lamps) will be displayed in a unique presentation to leave the visitors mesmerized.
