CHANDIGARH, 26.04.24-Enactus SSBUICET team of Panjab University enthusiastically participated in the exhibition “Tarang- Khushiyon Ke Sang”, organized by Prof.Gaurav Gaur, Chairperson, Centre for Social Work, at the Student Centre, providing a distinct platform to local artisans, non-governmental organizations and self-help groups, conveyed Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor, Enactus Panjab University and State Vice president of Corporate Sustainability Council, Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chandigarh.

Shubham Dhiman, President of the Enactus team, highlighted the significant attention garnered by products such as Dhoop, Incense sticks, and Sambrani cups produced under the "Arpan" project, in collaboration with the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.

Shubham also mentioned that the team recently formalized a partnership with Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. under its CSR initiative, the "Bottles for Change Programme," through Shri. Sukhman Singh, Executive CSR, Bisleri. This collaboration aims to foster a sense of civic responsibility among students and raise awareness about the proper disposal of plastic for recycling within the Panjab University Campus.

Mahi Jha, Director Projects at Enactus, asserted the ultimate objective of achieving zero plastic waste to landfill. Aarzoo Dhiman, Vice President of Enactus, emphasized the importance of promoting small changes in habits to collectively make a significant impact on preserving the environment. She expressed the guiding motto of this initiative as "Plastic is Precious! Let’s Not Squander it! Together, let's Enact Change!"
