Snatching
A case FIR No. 74 u/s 304(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of a woman R/o Sector-11, Chandigarh, alleging that an unknown person snatched her mobile phone near AP Chowk on 26-12-2025. No arrest has been made so far. Investigation is in progress.
Assualt
A case FIR No. 109 u/s 109, 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Honey R/o BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, alleging that Imran Qureshi along with four other associates attacked the complainant and his friend Rahul with a knife near Swagat Restaurant, Sector-26 on 26-12-2025 at about 2:00 AM. Both victims sustained injuries; the complainant was admitted to GH-16 and his friend to PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 266 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Hera Lal R/o Maloya, Chandigarh, alleging that Harpreet R/o Village Khokhar, District Muktsar (Punjab), while driving Centro car No. PB-30Y-4510, hit the complainant’s rehri on the Sector-42/43 dividing road on 27-12-2025 at about 3:00 PM. The complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32. The accused was arrested and later released on bail.
