Chandigarh, February 2:-The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh’s flagship smart parking initiative — MC One Pass — is witnessing remarkable public acceptance, having successfully crossed the 1,000 subscriber mark within a short span of its launch. The rapid uptake reflects growing citizen trust in the Corporation’s efforts towards hassle-free, transparent and technology-driven urban services.

Introduced to simplify parking and eliminate daily cash transactions, MC One Pass offers commuters seamless monthly parking at highly affordable rates — ₹250 for two-wheelers and ₹500 for four-wheelers — across designated MC parking sites in the city.

While speaking about the initiative, MC Commissioner Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS said that the strong response highlights the success of digital governance initiatives aimed at improving ease of living, convenience and transparency for residents. The system ensures cashless payments, reduces disputes at parking sites and brings greater accountability in parking operations.

Encouraged by the positive feedback, the Municipal Corporation plans to further strengthen awareness campaigns and expand the coverage of MC One Pass to benefit a larger section of commuters in the coming days.

The MC One Pass can be availed easily through the designated digital platform i.e. official website of MCC www.mcchandigarh.gov.in and scanning QR code placed at each parkimg site at the entry points, making Chandigarh’s parking system smarter, faster and citizen-centric.
