Her body was donated by her sons Mr. Anil Kumar Bansal, Mr. Sunil Bansal and all the family members on February 2nd, 2026. The Department is grateful to the family members for this noble gesture.

Department of Dietetics, PGIMER to Organise Special Diet Camp for Chemotherapy Patients on World Cancer Day
CHANDIGARH,03.02.2026-Department of Dietetics, PGIMER, Chandigarh will be organizing a special diet camp for day care chemotherapy patients to celebrate “World Cancer Day” on 4th February, 2026 on 5th floor, New OPD, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Tailor made diet plans according to the chemotherapy cycle, as well as according to patient’s baseline nutritional status (intake, Weight, BMI, food items and dislikes, particular food awareness, gastrointestinal health etc.) will be given to the patients.
Food myths, if any, will be clarified as well. Nutritious drinks and snacks will also be distributed. Various nutritious high energy and high protein recipes will also be distributed. Approximately 350 participants are expected to attend the same.
