Two persons arrested in NDPS Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Anand Kumar @ Aadarsh R/o #502, Phase-1 BDC Sector 26 Chandigarh from near plot no 47, phase-2 Industrial Area Chandigarh on 02-02 2026 and recovered 9.80 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No. 19 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Abhishek @ abhi R/o # Sandhu farm, Jhampur District - Mohali Punajb from near Sports Complex Sector 56 Chandigarh on 02-02 2026 and recovered 14.22 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No. 17 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Voluntarily causing hurt

A Case FIR No. 28 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Anish Kapoor R/o # 265 Vikash Nagar Nayagaon Punjab against unknown person who run away after quarrel with complainant and broken glasses of complainant car no CH01CX- 8109 on road back side PGI Sector 12 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No 20 U/S 316(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Dalwinder Singh R/o # 604/1 Sector 40 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 60,00,000/- through online fraud. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No. 20 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Darshan Singh R/o # 735 Village Kishangarh Chandigarh against driver of vehicle no UP 14ER-4808 who sped away after hit to activa no CH01BY-0372 driven by Sheetal Kumar R/o # 735 Village Kishangarh Chandigarh near Sector 31/32 light point on 30.01.2026. Victim sustained injuries got admitted to PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
