Mohali, 10.03.26- March 2026-NGO Tammana organised “PINKy PROMiSe”, a Free Mammography and Preventive Health Check Camp aimed at spreading awareness about breast cancer and encouraging early detection among women.

The camp was held at Soul Space, Mayfair Apartments, Sector 70, Mohali, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and received encouraging participation from the community.

Screenings were conducted in a Volvo Mammography Bus provided by Sohana Hospital, supported by trained medical professionals to ensure safe and reliable testing facilities.

The camp offered Free Mammography Screening, Blood Pressure Check, and Random Blood Sugar Tests. A total of 37 women above the age of 40 underwent mammography screening, highlighting the importance of preventive health checks and timely diagnosis.

Cancer survivors also joined the event and shared their inspiring journeys, reinforcing the message that early detection can save lives.

Participants and volunteers wore pink in solidarity for breast cancer awareness.
Small pink gifts were also distributed to registered attendees as a gesture of encouragement.

Founder President Ms. Isha Kakaria emphasised that initiatives like these help empower women with awareness, access to screening, and community support.

The camp was coordinated by Ms. Meenakshi Mahajan, Office Coordinator and Event SPOC, ensuring smooth participation and assistance for all attendees.
