Chandigarh, March 24 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij, while responding to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today, said that Rahul Gandhi should clean his glasses because if there is dust on it, everything appears blurred. Narendra Modi is a shining star in the world today; he is invited with respect across the globe. What Modi has accomplished in this country should be acknowledged, and the truth should be accepted.
Sh. Vij was responding to a question asked by media persons today regarding Rahul Gandhi’s statement that the Prime Minister’s image has been tarnished after his speech.
Commenting on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s statement that the tenure of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah is about to end, Energy Minister Anil Vij remarked sarcastically that no government has imposed restrictions on dreaming—anyone can dream anything. Kejriwal himself is already sinking, and while a sinking man may keep dreaming, his dreams will never come true.
*Energy Minister Anil Vij targets AIMIM leader: “Don’t be under any illusion, the rule of law prevails in the country”*
Responding strongly to an AIMIM leader’s statement that if they get 11 MLAs in Uttar Pradesh, they would eliminate anyone who harms Muslims in encounters and protect madrasas, Anil Vij said that there are some leaders like him who occasionally make such statements. They are under a misconception—the rule of law and strict governance prevail in the country. Governments are fulfilling their responsibility to ensure the safety of all people by adhering to the law.
*On SP MP’s statement about the film Dhurandhar 2, Minister Anil Vij’s response: “Questioning a film without watching it is purely malicious!”*
Regarding SP MP Afzal Ansari’s statement about the portrayal of Atiq Ahmed in the film Dhurandhar 2, where he said he had not watched the film but claimed it was not based on real events, Anil Vij said that if he hasn’t even seen the film, how can he know what it means, what it intends to show, or convey? Making such statements without watching it only spreads ill intent among the public and serves no other purpose.
