Chandigarh | March 25, 2026-T.S. Central State Library successfully Concluded Spring Fest 2026 with Creative Shadow Puppetry Workshop at T.S. Central State Libraryuded its vibrant Spring Fest 2026 (March 23–25) with an engaging and creative workshop titled “Fun with Shadow Puppets” on March 25.
The workshop, conducted for children aged 4 to 12 years, witnessed enthusiastic participation as young learners explored the art of storytelling through shadow puppetry. The session was led by renowned theatre expert Subhasis Neogi, a recipient of the prestigious Nek Chand Award, who introduced children to the basics of puppet-making and performance techniques in an interactive manner.
Held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the activity aimed at fostering creativity, imagination, and confidence among participants. The Spring Fest also featured a series of free workshops including Storytelling by Shiraz Saini and Art & craft by Swati Chawla , making the library a lively hub of learning and cultural engagement over the three days.
Mrs. Neelam Bansal, Library Incharge, graced the occasion, while the event was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Neeza Singh, Librarian.
The initiative reflects the library’s continued commitment to promoting experiential learning and holistic development among children through innovative and inclusive programs.
