A case FIR No. 47 u/s 319(2) BNS and 66(C) IT Act has been registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Chandigarh on the complaint of Satyam Tandon R/o #1636, Sector-18D, Chandigarh. He alleged that an unknown person cheated him by misuse of identity and impersonation. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Snatching
A case FIR No. 37 u/s 304(2) and 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of S.L. Soni R/o Sector-37D, Chandigarh. He alleged that an unknown person snatched his mobile phone near park backside mini market, Sector-37D on 27-03-2026 at about 11:45 AM. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault
A case FIR No. 39 u/s 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3) and 79 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the complaint of Yashveer Singh R/o Mani Majra, Chandigarh. He alleged that Adarsh, Arun, Vikram, Rajiv, Sanjeev, Amit, Rahul, Varsha, Savita, Mamta and others, all residents of Rajiv Colony, Panchkula, attacked him with sharp weapons, abused and assaulted him at bus stand Mani Majra on 21-03-2026. Investigation of the case is in progress
A case FIR No. 51 u/s 115(2), 126(2) and 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gautam R/o Sector-38/A, Chandigarh. He alleged that three unknown persons assaulted him near Kabari Market at Sector-25/38 light point on 27-03-2026 at about 2:30 AM. The complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to GH-16. Investigation of the case is in progress.
