One person arrested in Cheating

A case FIR No.61 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 338, 336(3), 340 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mukesh Girti & Navneet Chawla Member Town Vending Committee Mc Chandigarh against Harjinder Singh Shinda who has a fake I/D card MC Insp. name of Harjinder Singh Shinda and issuing fake vending Licensees to vendors and cheated them. During the investigation, the accused was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Three Persons arrested in public drinking

Chandigarh Police arrested Sarvesh R/o # 79, Ph-1 BDC Sector-26 Chandigarh from truck parking TPT Area Sector-26 Chandigarh on 27-04-2026, while drinking and creating nuisance at public place, A case FIR No. 46 U/S 68(1)-B PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Accused was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Anupam Kumar R/o # 498 Sector-45 Burail Chandigarh and Sanjay Kumar R/o Plot No. 33 Chadha transport BDC Sector-26 Chandigarh from near wine shop TPT Area Sector-26 on 27-04-2026, while drinking and creating nuisance at public place, A case FIR No. 47 U/S 68(1)-B PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Accused was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
