Chandigarh, May 4:- Sh. Amit Kumar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, today reviewed the progress of ongoing development works in the Transport Area, Sector 26. During the visit, he inspected key infrastructure projects and directed officials to ensure timely completion with high quality standards.

The Commissioner also held an interactive meeting with members of various transporter associations operating in the area. He patiently listened to their concerns and demands related to infrastructure, traffic management, parking, sanitation, and basic civic amenities.

Emphasizing the importance of the Transport Area as a vital commercial hub, Sh. Amit Kumar assured the stakeholders that their genuine issues would be addressed in a time-bound manner.

He further directed concerned officials to prepare actionable plans to improve road conditions, streamline traffic movement, and enhance overall cleanliness in the area.
