Chandigarh, 27/05/2026:The Energy Management Cell, SDA established under the Engineering Department, Chandigarh Administration organized a Training Program in association with Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration at the MGSIPA Campus, Sector 26, Chandigarh, on the theme of Energy Efficiency in Power Sector.

The program witnessed active participation from officials of Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited, Engineering Department, Municipal Corporation, and Housing Board, with approximately 40 participants attending the training sessions.

During the program, experts delivered insightful sessions on energy conservation, energy efficiency in the power sector, sustainable energy practices, Net Zero initiatives, and effective energy management techniques. The training aimed at enhancing awareness and strengthening capacity for adoption of energy-efficient and sustainable practices across various departments. The initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Chandigarh Administration towards promoting energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and responsible energy management.
