Two persons arrested in Excise Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas @ Lala R/o # 717/27, BDC, Sector-26 Chandigarh from near Valmiki Mandir, BDC Sector-26 Chandigarh on 06-06-2026 and recovered 47 quarters of empire no. 1 mota santra spiced country liquor from his possession. A Case FIR No. 72 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out.

Chandigarh Police arrested Satinder @ Nikhil R/o # 535, Ph-1 BDC, Sector-26 Chandigarh from near Sukhna Choe BDC Chandigarh on 07-06-2026 and recovered 18 bottles of dilbar santra from his possession. A case FIR No. 73 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out.
