A case FIR No. 100 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o Sector-17 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant’s son for Rs- 1,37,000/- by hacking his mobile phone. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No.101 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramesh R/o # 2012/30 Sector-32/C Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 99,000/- by malicious apk file. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 102 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of Col. Retd. Hoshiar Singh R/o # 5136, Mhc, Mani Majra Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 3,90,000/- by using his debit card details. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh police arrested Vikrant @ Akshay R/o Gali No. 27 Near Atta Chakki, Jujhar Nagar Mohali Punjab from under bridge Sector-11 Chandigarh on 16-07-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A case FIR No. 82 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act. has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in accident case

A case FIR No. 92 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector -26 Chandigarh. Rohit Mishra R/o # 45, Ph-3, Bdc, Sector-26 Chandigarh against driver of car no. CH-01-CY-9140 namely Girdhari R/o # 726/14, Ph-1 Bdc, Sector-26 Chandigarh who hit to pedestrian lady and her child, both victims sustained injuries got admitted to hospital. During the investigation the accused was arrested and later on bailed out . Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No.98 U/S 281, 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli jagran Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress. Arun Kumar R/o # 328, Sector-21A Chandigarh against unknown motorcycle rider who sped away after hit to an unknown cyclist near Aggarwal Nursery, Sunder Nagar, Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on 15-07-2026 victim sustained injuries got admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh and the duty doctor declared brought. Investigation of this case is in progress.
