One person arrested in Ndps Act

Chandigarh police arrested Joga Singh R/o Village Chone, Ghuman Kalan Distt Gurdaspur Punjab from near Bus Stop Sector-38 Chandigarh on 20-07-2026 and recovered 10.32 gram chitta from his possession. A case FIR No. 112 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Accident cases

A case FIR No. 94 U/S 281, 125(B) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ravi Yadav R/o Sector-39/B Chandigarh against driver of taxi no. PB-01-E-0396 namely Sukhvir Singh R/o Village Nagla, Near Naga city Zirakpur Punjab Who hit to complainant’s electric scooter near Ps East Chowk on 17-07-2026, victim sustained injuries got admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. During the investigation accused was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 113 U/S 281, 125(A), 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mangal Singh R/O # H. No. 2272, Ram Darbar Ph-2 Chandigarh against driver of bmw car no. PB 27-F-0086 namely Aaftab Singh R/o # No. 984 Near Hanuman Mandir, Ph-3B2, Mohali Punjab. who hit to a bullet motor cycle no. CH-01-CL-9083 near Ram Darbar Light Point on 20-07-2026 victim namely Pratham Salwan sustained injuries admitted to GMCH-32 and during the treatment in GMCH-32 Chandigarh victim was expired. During the investigation accused was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in voluntarily causing hurt

A case FIR No. 112 U/S 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 351(2), 351(3) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunny R/o Ph-2 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh against Samar @ Greedy, Shian@ Gunni R/o # H. No. 446, Ph-1 Ram Darbar Chandigarh and Vivek @ Bhondu R/o # H. No. 594, Ph-2 Ram Darbar Chandigarh. They attacked on complainant stabbed him on thigh and waist, near Manu Mobile Shop Ram Darbar Chandigarh on 20 07-2026, victim sustained injuries and got admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. During the investigation the accused Shian@ Gunni R/o # H. No. 446, Ph-1 Ram Darbar Chandigarh and Vivek @ Bhondu R/o # H. No. 594, Ph-2 Ram Darbar Chandigarh was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 99 U/S 305(A), 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of Vinod Kumar Sharma R/o # 4533, Near Shiv Mandir, Mauli Jagran Complex Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 18 Tola gold ornaments, including 2 ladies gold chains, 2 gents gold chains, 2 gold lockets, silver ornaments and cash Rs 60,000/- from complainant’s house on night intervening 19/20-07-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
