Jalandhar, 22 August 2026: Lovely Professional University (LPU), in association with Simandhar Education, brought together over 2,500 students and 30+ CFOs and senior industry leaders at the Academia-Industry AI Summit to discuss the evolving role of artificial intelligence in finance, accounting and business.

The event, held at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar-Delhi, Grand Trunk Road, Phagwara, Punjab – 144411, featured senior representatives from the Big Four, PwC India, State Street, PKF and other leading organisations. Discussions focused on the impact of AI and technology on finance and accounting, changing industry skill requirements and emerging global career opportunities.

A key highlight was a fireside chat with Shri Ashok Mittal, Chancellor, Lovely Professional University and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Punjab, who shared perspectives on the evolving higher education and professional landscape.
