Three arrested under NDPS ACT
A Case FIR No. 88 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station IT Park against Rohit @ Gujja R/o Jhuggi No. 170, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, aged 22 years, was apprehended near Slip Road, Tech Mahindra, IT Park, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 8:40 PM and 3.83 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and is in police lock-up.
A Case FIR No. 157 u/s 27 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 39 against Tushar Rana R/o #582, PH-3B1, Janta Market, Mohali, Punjab, aged 24 years, was apprehended near Sports Complex, Sector-56, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 5:15 PM and heroin, along with foil paper, lighter and a ₹10 currency note, was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and bailed out.
A Case FIR No. 25 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Crime on the complaint against alleged Monu R/o #265, Deep Complex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh, was apprehended near College, Sector-11, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 2:45 AM and 126.82 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and is in police lock-up.
Four arrested under ARMS ACT
A Case FIR No. 107 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 11 against Amandeep Singh R/o VPO Daun, District S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, aged 36 years, was apprehended near Kachi Parking, PGI, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 8:25 PM and one Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up.
A Case FIR No. 89 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Mani Majra against Tajinder @ Tindri R/o #287, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, aged 23 years, was apprehended near #51, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 9:00 PM and one Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up.
A Case FIR No. 159 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 31 against Vinod @ Satting, R/o #1999, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, aged 32 years, was apprehended near #51, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 6:20 PM and one button-operated Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up.
A Case FIR No. 115 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Maloya against Lakshman, R/o #268/3, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh, aged 28 years, was apprehended near #520, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh, on 14-09-2026 at about 1:30 AM and one Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up
Two arrested consuming liquor at Public place
A Case FIR No. 138 u/s 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of HC Parveen 6261/CP. Accused Azam S/o Nishar, R/o #102, Saini Vihar, Baltana, Punjab, aged 23 years, was apprehended from the backside of NAC DMC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at a public place and creating nuisance. He was arrested and later bailed out.
A Case FIR No. 139 u/s 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran against Manoj Kumar, R/o #136, Mauli Pind, Chandigarh, aged 29 years, was apprehended from Main Road, Vikas Vihar Mandi, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at a public place and creating nuisance. He was arrested and later bailed out.
ACCIDENT
A Case FIR No. 143 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station 34 on the complaint of Sh. Harshal Lalchand Makwana R/o B-304, Nabard Vihar, Sector-66, Mohali, Punjab. He reported that an unknown driver of vehicle No. CH-01AJ-3511 sped away after hitting his bike No. 25BH8564S near Sector-33/34 Light Point on 10-09-2026 at about 12:30 AM. The complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to Grecian Hospital, Mohali. Investigation of the case is in progress.
