Cyber Cheating case

A Case FIR No. 171 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of girl R/o Progressive Enclave Sector-50 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs 1,86,000/- on the pretext of tourist visa, flight and hotel booking. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating case

A case FIR No.162 U/S 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2) & 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Romit Sardana R/o # 1601, Sector-7 Karnal Haryana against Anoop Kumar Sharma, Krishan Pal, Shatrugan. They prepared a false and fabricated will to illegally usurp the properties belongs to lt. sh. harish chander sardana. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Theft Case

A case FIR No.134 U/S 305(a), 317(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Shiwant Kumar R/O Aso Pgi Sector-12 Chandigarh against Arvind @ Admi R/o Labh Ka Bade Ke Samne Khuda Lahora Chandigar and Bahadur Singh R/o # 355/1 Near Prem Kiryana Store Oppositye Dhariwal Complex Khuda Lahora Chandigarh. They stole away material of lift from Apc Building PGI Sector-12 on 08-10-2026. During the investigation, accused persons were arrested. Investigation of this is in progress.

Three persons arrested in Ndps Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vipin @ Aditya @ Biddi R/o # 41, Hallomajra, UT Chandigarh from open ground near saw mill hallo majra Chandigarh on 08-10-2026 and recovered 11.05 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 186 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Patel R/o Village Karnauti Manhar, District-Vaishali, Bihar from near service road ISBT Sector-43 Chandigarh t-point on 07-10 2026 and recovered 29.10 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 184 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Chand Shah R/o # 1084, Kanchi Wali Gali, Mori Gate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh from near Dussehra ground, govind pura, mani majra Chandigarh on 08-10-2026 while consuming heroin/chitta, one foil paper, Rs 100 currency note and one lighter recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 109 U/S 27 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station ManiMajra Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused person was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Five persons arrested in Gambling Act

DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Tushar Mehta R/o # 2152, Sector- 44/C, Chandigarh, Amrinder Singh R/o # 2220, Ph. Vii, Mohali (Pb), Yadwinder Shahi R/o # 1119 Sector- 42/B Chandigarh, Yatin Bhardwaj R/o # C- 704, Gold Homes, Sector-116, Mohali (Pb) and Ravinder Singh R/o # 110, Vill- Dadu Majra Chandigarh From # 329, Sector-40/A Chandigarh on 08-10-2026 while playing gambling and recovered cash Rs 1,55,000/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 170 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh. During the investigation all acceded was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
