Two persons arrested in NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Subham R/o # 1194 Phase-1 Ramdarbar Chandigarh from near R/o # 1194 Phase-1 back side Govt. School Ramdarbar Chandigarh on 15.10.2026 and recovered 10.12 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR no 195 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Prem Gupta R/o # 1701 Dadu Majra Colony Chandigarh from near T- point togan on dumping ground towards Maloya road on 15.10.2026 and recovered 29.40 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case FIR No 135 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Cheating

A Case Fir no 178 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Sector 38/W Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 80,000/- searching SRM University mobile number on Google. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case Fir no 179 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ambrish Kumar R/o # Plot no 24, Phase-1 Industrial Area Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 2,86,126/-regarding unauthorized transaction from complainant Credit card and bank account. Investigation of this case is in progress.
