Chandigarh, 28.10.26-Dr. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi, Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, PGIMER, Chandigarh, has been elected President of the Asian Oceanic Society of Paediatric Radiology (AOSPR), becoming the first Indian to hold this prestigious position. The election took place at the Society’s 24th Annual Scientific Meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand, from October 23–25, 2026. His election is a matter of pride for PGIMER and Indian medical science, recognising his significant contributions to paediatric imaging, research and academic leadership. He is also President of the Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology (ISPR) and Vice-President of the World Federation of Pediatric Imaging (WFPI).
