Chandigarh, January 23, 2026:As part of the observance of National Voters’ Day on 25th January, 2026, a Voters’ Pledge Ceremony was held today at the Multipurpose Hall, UT Chandigarh Secretariat.

Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, administered the National Voters’ Day Pledge, reaffirming the collective commitment to uphold democratic values and participate responsibly in the electoral process. Officers and employees from various departments located in the Chandigarh Secretariat, Deluxe Building, Additional Deluxe Building and Chandigarh Housing Board actively participated in the programme.

Also present during the event were Sh. Amit Kumar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation; Ms. Anuradha Chagti, Secretary, Social Welfare; Sh. Akhil Kumar, Additional Secretary, Personnel; Sh. C.B. Ojha, Chief Engineer, and other senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration.
