Chandigarh 10th April -Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President of the Chandigarh Traders Association, Sector 17, had the esteemed privilege of visiting the Central Tibetan Administration (Tibetan Government-in-Exile) in Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), where he met the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Penpa Tsering, at his office. During this gracious meeting, Panchhi presented a traditional siropa to the Hon’ble Prime Minister as a mark of deep respect and goodwill. The interaction was warm and meaningful, reflecting mutual appreciation and a shared commitment towards community welfare and harmony.
On this special occasion, Panchhi felt immensely proud and deeply honoured to receive a prestigious award from the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Penpa Tsering, and Mrs. Tsering Yangchen, Hon’ble Member of Parliament. This recognition was bestowed upon him in appreciation of his unwavering support for the Potala Tibetan Refugee Market community in Chandigarh, as well as his consistent efforts in raising and addressing their concerns with dedication and sincerity.
