Chandigarh Police arrested Paramveer Singh R/o # 588 Top floor Sector 55 SAS Nagar Punjab, who was running Immigration office SCO No 46-47 Top floor Sector 9/D Chandigarh without any permission and disobeying the orders of DM UT, Chandigarh. A Case FIR No 19 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 03 Chandigarh. Later on accused bailout. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cheating

A Case FIR No 14 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Manmohan Singh Marwaha R/o # Flat no 864 Shivalik Society Sector 49/A Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs. 59,79,400 /- on the Pretext of investment in Share Market. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 44 U/S 316(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jaspreet, Hardeep and others (total-17 complainants) against Manpreet Singh Khurana and others R/o # 245 Sector 35/A Chandigarh, they cheated with complainants Rs. Approx 2 Cr. 15 Lakh regarding sending them to America. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 07 U/S 406, 420, 464, 120B IPC has been registered in Police Station EOW Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Staff road Ambala Cant Haryana against Director M/S Manohar Infra R/o SCO NO 139-141 Sector 17 Chandigarh who committed fraud with the complainant in the transaction of the plot. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 08 U/S 406, 420, 464, 120B IPC has been registered in Police Station EOW Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Surender Singh R/o # 4045 Sector 689 phase 11 SAS Nagar Mohali Punjab agasint Director M/S Manohar Infra R/o # SCO NO 139-141 Sector 17 Chandigarh who committed fraud with the complainant in the transaction of the plot. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 45 U/S 305(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Kuldeep Singh R/o # Village Kajheri Sector 52 Chandigarh against unknown person who stolen cylinder from Gurudwara Sahib Kitchen on 04.03.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No 31 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Atul R/o # 732/3 BDC Sector 26 Chandigarh against unknown car driver complainant stated that on 5.3.2025 when his father riding Golgappa Rehri ride on the road back side Barsati Dhaba unknown car directly hit to his father. Due to his father sustained injuries and now admitted in PGIMER Chandigarh. Investigation of this case in progress.
