Chandigarh September 18, 2024-Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan in collaboration with Department of Computer Science and Applications (DCSA), Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized a mega cleanliness drive today at Student Centre, Panjab University. The students and volunteers cleaned the Student Centre area and Lawns with great enthusiasm. The students also motivated the visitors to properly dispose of food waste in designated bins and keep their surrounding clean.

Dr. Anuj Kumar, Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan led the initiative and motivated the students and volunteers to join the event and contribute towards waste management, sanitation monitoring and public awareness.

Dr. Kavita Taneja, DCSA encouraged everyone to instill cleanliness values, seek active participation, contributing to a cleaner campus. Panjab University reaffirms its commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility. Rishab Batra, Narender, Joginder, Nancy and Shivani were the student coordinators of this event.
