MAHENDERGARH, 18.10.24-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh has been honored with the prestigious " Emerging University of the Year category" award at the FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024. This accolade recognizes CUH's outstanding contributions to higher education through innovation, research, and academic excellence, positioning it as a leader in the emerging universities category across India.
The award was presented by Ms. Jyoti Vij, Director General, FICCI and Ms. Lindey Cameron, British High Commissioner to India during 19th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2024 held in Delhi on 18/10/2024. CUH has been recognized for its remarkable progress in curriculum innovation, international collaborations, employment generation, and research excellence.
The FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards are one of the most prestigious recognitions in Indian higher education, celebrating institutions that demonstrate leadership in academic standards, industry engagement, and societal contribution. The "University of the Year (Emerging)" category specifically honors young institutions that have rapidly made an impact in the education sector.
Professor (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CUH, expressed his happiness in the achievement, stating: "This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence and innovation. Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), added "This award reflects our institution’s success in implementing strategic initiatives for quality improvement across academic and administrative domains.
