Chandigarh-4 December 2024: Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh organised its much-awaited Annual Athletic Meet with immense zeal and enthusiasm on 2nd and 3rd December at the Sports Complex, Sector 7, Chandigarh. The event showcased remarkable sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance among the students.
Mrs. Suparna Bansal, Vice Principal declared the Sports Meet openby releasing vibrant balloons into the blue sky. The School Captain Arushi Ahuja administered the oath to the enthusiastic athletes highlighting thetrue spirit of sports and fair play.
The air was filled with excitement and cheer as students competed enthusiastically in a wide range of athletic events including Sprints, Relay Races, Long Jump, Discus Throw and Shot Put. The Tug of War was a highly engrossing event that exhibited a perfect blend of strength and strategy.The school also organized fun events for teachers- Lemon Race and Relay adding an element of joy and inclusivity to the celebration.
The Athletic Meet concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the winners were awarded medals and certificates of appreciation.
