MAHENDERGARH,11.12.24-The Department of Management Studies of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh organized a seminar on Wednesday on the occasion of Gita Jayanti. This seminar, focused on the subject of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, was organized by the students of the value-added course on Shrimad Bhagwat Gita. Acharya Shri Dev Shekhar Vishnu Das, Project Director of ISKCON Ayodhya and Professor Ajay K Garg from Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver Canada were present as expert speakers in the event. The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar presided over the program.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, while highlighting the importance of Gita, said that it paves the way to live life. The Vice Chancellor expressed his gratitude to the expert speakers present on this occasion and praised the organizers for this successful event. The Vice Chancellor said that through this seminar, students, researchers and teachers will definitely get help in understanding Shrimad Bhagwat Gita in a better way. Prof. Ajay Garg, who was present as an expert speaker in the event, made the participants aware of various aspects of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and told how we can achieve new dimensions of success in life by following the knowledge described in Gita. In the same sequence, Acharya Shri Dev Shekhar Vishnu Das also shed light on the knowledge of Gita and its utility in human life. He told how Shrimad Bhagwat Gita shows us the way to live life. He also mentioned the knowledge of Gita and its utility in today's time through various examples.
At the beginning of the program, the director of the seminar, Prof. Sunita Tanwar presented the welcome speech. The Convener of the program, Prof. Anand Sharma told that students of value-added courses of various departments of the University participated in the seminar. On this occasion, an exhibition of books related to Gita was also organized by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Central Library of the University. Prof. Payal Chandel and Dr. Devendra Rajput also presented their views in the event. Along with this, the students of Sanskrit department also recited shlokas.
