*"All four pillars of the country's democracy are functioning properly" - Vij*
Ambala/Chandigarh/New Delhi, December 16 - Haryana's Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister Sh. Anil Vij once again took a dig at the Congress today, stating that "Anyone caught in the grip of Congress is sure to have their career ruined." Additionally, he advised farmers about their march, saying, "Farmers should obtain permission for the tractor march and find an alternative to blocking railways, as railway disruptions will cause problems for millions of people." He also remarked that "All four pillars of the country's democracy are functioning properly."
Sh. Vij made these remarks while responding to questions asked by the media persons today.
Taking a jibe at Mani Shankar Aiyar's statement that "The Gandhi family ruined my career," Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said that "Mani Shankar is only concerned about himself. The Gandhi family ruled the country for 50 years and ruined the nation’s career. What is Mani Shankar compared to that? Anyone under their control will have their career ruined."
Responding to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's statement that "The current government is working against the Indian Constitution. The roles being played by institutions like the judiciary, Parliament, the Election Commission, and the Raj Bhavan, which should be custodians of the Constitution, are not in the nation’s interest," Vij remarked that "A defeated person is always in depression, and someone in depression sees everything negatively. All four pillars of the country's democracy are functioning properly."
Regarding the farmers' tractor march and the proposed "Rail Roko" protest on December 18, Vij said that "Everyone has the right to protest peacefully with prior permission from the administration. However, the idea of blocking railways should be avoided, as it causes inconvenience to millions of people. Trains to Punjab will come to a halt. Farmers should find other means of protest to ensure their voices are heard without troubling others."
