Chandigarh, July 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh today inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 37 development projects worth Rs. 269 crores in Gurugram district during a ceremony for the distribution of Svamitva Patra and registry under the Mukhyamantri Shaheri Svamitva Yojana in Manesar. This includes the inauguration of 12 projects costing Rs. 13.76 crores and the foundation laying for 25 projects costing Rs. 255.17 crores.
The Chief Minister said that the most development works in Gurugram district have been carried out during the present government's tenure since 2014.
The Chief Minister inaugurated various roads at a cost of Rs. 13.76 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for 25 development projects. The major projects include the service lanes on both sides of Dwarka Expressway at a cost of Rs. 99.50 crore, construction of GMDA's master road from IMT Manesar to Pataudi Road at a cost of Rs. 13.10 crore, the water treatment plant to be built in Chandu Budhera at a cost of Rs. 61.95 crore, the upgradation of the boosting station in Sector-16 Gurugram at a cost of Rs.14.75 crore, and the construction and improvement of master sewer lines from Sector-58 to 76 Gurugram upto Behrampur STP at a cost of Rs. 28.45 crore.

Chandigarh, July 11- The Animal Care Organization (TACO), a flagship animal welfare initiative under the Anil Agarwal Foundation, dedicated a corpus of Rs. 100 crores today towards bolstering animal welfare in Haryana through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh. As part of the MoU, TACO will undertake the upgradation of the Government Veterinary Hospital in Gurugram into a 24x7 multi-speciality animal hospital and commence the construction of an animal birth control (ABC) unit, laboratory, pharmacy, training centre and shelter for extremely critical animals in Haryana. The facility is spread over 2 acres in Kadipur, Gurugram.
The MoU marks a monumental step towards the improvement of animal welfare services in Haryana with the state government inking a 10-year long collaboration with the Anil Agarwal Foundation. As part of the collaboration, TACO will also deploy an ambulance and an advanced mobile health van to provide emergency care services at doorstep.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that he is delighted to witness this significant partnership between The Animal Care Organization and the State Government. The effort to transform the landscape of animal welfare in Haryana, earlier with the Faridabad shelter and now the initiative in Gurugram will vastly improve veterinary care services in our state which the residents of Gurugram as well as nearby cities can make use of. He said that “I look forward to seeing the positive impact this initiative will have on the well-being of animals and the overall health of our communities”. The Chief Minister instructed the concerned officers to upgrade the care services for the animals in Guashalas.
Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Non-Executive Director at Vedanta and Anchor, TACO, Priya Agarwal Hebbar said that they are delighted to collaborate with Haryana yet again to augment animal welfare infrastructure in the state. With an investment of Rs. 100 crore for the upgradation of the Government Veterinary Hospital in Gurugram, the construction of a 24x7 multi-specialty animal hospital and our existing shelter in Faridabad. We are committed towards ensuring availability of state-of-the-art veterinary care in Haryana. Ms. Ritu Jhingon, President, Anil Agarwal foundation informed the Chief Minister that excellent services for animal care will be provided including OPD, modern surgical facilities and the use of best practices.
Notably, TACO's initiatives encompass a holistic approach to ‘One Health’, recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment. The organization's shelter in Faridabad, Haryana, is home to 160+ animals, including cows, bulls, and dogs, focusing on rescue, rehabilitation, advanced veterinary care and overall well-being. Since its inception in 2022, it has treated more than 60,000 animals through its health camps, rescued almost 5,000 animals during the Delhi and Haryana floods, and supported over 460 members of the farmer community through animal OPD services. Furthermore, TACO's dedication extends to education and training through the TACO Academy, which conducts sessions for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. TACO also supports and strengthens veterinary healthcare services through OPD and ambulance services.
It may be recalled that the Animal Care Organization (TACO) is a unique animal welfare project under the aegis of Anil Agarwal Foundation (AAF). It is aimed at providing world-class infrastructure, veterinary services, a training facility, and animal shelters to heal and protect animals. TACO’s six pillars of shelter, hospital, academy, wildlife conservation, disaster relief efforts and sectoral development, aim to develop international standards for animal welfare. Advanced animal healthcare, preventive veterinary care, a spay and neuter program, diagnostics, and mobile emergency care units will be the main priorities of the under construction multi-specialty veterinary hospital and Animal Birth Control Centre in Faridabad. Haryana Chief Minister urges for increased public engagement with State's Heritage Sites and Museums
Increase students' visits to heritage sites in collaboration with the Education Department
Chandigarh, July 11 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh has called for enhanced efforts by the Archaeology and Museum Department to raise public awareness about the state's heritage sites, structures, museums, and artefacts. The department should work more rapidly in this direction to encourage greater participation from residents and tourists in experiencing Haryana's rich cultural heritage.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during an event where he released a customized My Stamp featuring 12 State Protected Monuments and unveiled 38 newly adopted monuments and sites. In addition, he also unveiled five new publications of the department designed to promote the state's heritage and cultural richness.
"The rich heritage and culture of our state are sources of pride. It is imperative that we make these treasures accessible and known to both our residents and visitors. These publications will play a significant role in this endeavor," said Sh. Nayab Singh.
While appreciating the educational initiatives of the Department of Archaeology and Museums in collaborating with the Education Department, he emphasized the need to increase student trips to heritage sites and monuments. Such initiatives will instill a sense of pride and awareness in our younger generation, fostering a deeper connection with our cultural roots, he added.
The Chief Minister also expressed interest in the archaeological sites in Haryana and assured of financial support for restoration of heritage monuments. He also appreciated the hardwork of the Department’s team towards the conservation, protection and preservation of the valuable monuments and rich heritage of Haryana.
30 more sites identified, process underway to declare them State Protected Sites
Principal Secretary of the Archaeology and Museum Department, Smt. Kala Ramachandran said that the release of the Stamp Sheet featuring 12 State Protected Monuments, in collaboration with the Chief Postmaster General of the Haryana Postal Circle is a first for the state since the department's inception in 1972. These Customized Stamp Sheets serve as qualitative souvenirs that reflect cultural sensitivity among the public and help them connect with the state’s heritage. The department has adopted 38 heritage sites for state protection, in addition to the existing 40 sites already under the protection of Haryana. Furthermore, 30 more sites have been identified, and the process of declaring them as State Protected Sites is underway, she added.
Director Archaeology and Museums, Sh Amit Khatri gave a presentation on the 38 sites that have been taken into State Protection and elaborated on the recent initiatives of the archaeology and museums department.

The five publications released by the Chief Minister include "Arcane: The Untold Haryana," "Splendors of Narnaul," "Hamara Haryana: Prarambhik Etihasik Kaal," "Hamara Haryana: Pragaitihasik Kaal," and "Narnaul ki Agyaat Virasat."

Chandigarh, July 11 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh today met Sh. Yuzvendra Chahal, a member of the T-20 Cricket World Cup winning team in Gurugram today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the cricketer on winning the T-20 World Cup and wished him success in his future endeavours.
The Chief Minister honoured Sh. Chahal at the PWD Rest House in Gurugram by presenting him with a Idol of Lord Krishna and a shawl. The Chief Minister also adorned Sh.Chahal with a medal and expressed his delight, encouraging him to continue bringing glory to Haryana both Nationally and Internationally.
The Chief Minister announced plans to soon organise a felicitation ceremony for Paralympic athletes and other sportspersons who have made Haryana proud. He emphasised that Haryana is a land of athletes who consistently excel in international sports, enhancing the nation's reputation worldwide.
Interacting with the Chief Minister, Sh. Yuzvendra Chahal shared that he has been playing cricket as a bowler for many years. He shared that although his family hails from Jind, they have been residing in Gurugram for the past four years.
Sh. Yuzvendra Chahal's father, Sh. Krishan Kumar Chahal, also spoke with the Chief Minister, sharing achievements from his and his son's lives. He expressed immense pride in his son being honoured by the Chief Minister. Sh. Chahal's mother, Smt. Sunita Kumari Chahal, also attended the event, expressing her joy at the recognition of her son. Chandigarh, July 11- Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh today distributed property certificates under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Swamitva Yojana to 5,000 people who had been deprived of ownership rights for years. Under this scheme, traders who have been renting for more than 20 years have been granted ownership rights to their property at the collector rate.
While congratulating the beneficiaries at the state-level registry distribution and Urban Lal Dora Property Certificate distribution programme held in Manesar today, Sh Nayab Singh said that people had been suffering from this Lal Dora problem for a long time. Many individuals had property in urban areas but lacked ownership rights. Numerous disputes were ongoing in court, creating an atmosphere of fear among people that they might lose their property. If someone wanted to sell their property, they could not do so, nor could they secure a loan against it. The present state government has resolved this issue, alleviating the public's fears, he added.
The Chief Minister said that during the 2019 elections, we had promised in the election manifesto to give ownership rights to all such people and today 5000 people have benefited, they have got the ownership rights. He said that out of the properties located inside Lal Dora, about two lakh citizens across the state have got the benefit of property. After today, no one can remove them from their property, from today you have become the owner of your properties. These are the properties whose revenue officials did not have the record of rights.

The Chief Minister stated that property is not only a means of employment but also a matter of respect for traders. He acknowledged that it takes years for a trader to establish their business and that he understands their problems very well. He emphasized that regardless of the size of the business, everyone shares the same dream of owning their own shop, and this dream is being fulfilled today. From now on, any trader who has been renting for more than 20 years will be able to become the owner by registering the property in their name at the collector rate.
Double engine government is constantly working for the welfare of the poor
The Chief Minister highlighted that in the last 10 years, the double-engine government has undertaken significant work for the welfare of the poor, directly benefiting eligible people through various schemes. Criticizing the opposition, he said that the previous government had promised to provide 100-square-yard plots to the poor but had deceived the innocent people. In contrast, the current government has started delivering papers and possession of 100-square-yard plots to eligible people in a planned manner. Additionally, for areas where the Panchayat does not have available land to give plots, the government has decided to provide Rs 1 lakh each for purchasing a plot. Furthermore, Rs 80 crore has been transferred to workers' accounts in a systematic manner.
Also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 273 crore under GMDA
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works under the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority at a cost of Rs 273 crore. This includes the inauguration of 12 projects worth Rs 14 crore and the foundation stone laying for 25 projects costing Rs 259 crore.
Country is continuously touching new heights of development under PM Modi leadership
The Chief Minister stated that the present government is continuously giving new impetus to development. Before 2014, development was not evident anywhere in the state. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the country is constantly reaching new heights of development. The government is consistently working to simplify people's lives. Through unique schemes like the Ayushman Card and Chirayu Card, the Central and State Governments have provided health benefits worth Rs 5 lakh to the poor, with over 1.25 crore eligible people in Haryana taking advantage of these schemes.
Addressing the people, the Chief Minister assured that the government is committed to accelerating the pace of development. Every district in the state is now connected by four-lane highways. The government's intention is to further accelerate the pace of development in the coming times, and it is working with dedication to achieve this goal, he added.
Target to install solar panels on the roofs of 1 lakh houses under PM Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana
Sh Nayab Singh stated that on January 22, 2024, during the Prana Pratishtha ceremony at the holy temple of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi resolved to install solar rooftop systems on the roofs of every hoe. For this, he launched the PM Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana. Building on this initiative, we have decided to install solar systems on the roofs of 1,00,000 homes of the poor, providing an additional grant from the Haryana government. Under this scheme, Rs 60,000 will be provided by the Central Government, and Rs 50,000 by the Haryana Government. Additionally, the Haryana Government has abolished the monthly minimum electricity charge, offering relief to domestic electricity consumers. Now, bills will be charged based on the actual units of electricity consumed. He also provided information about the "HAPPY Scheme," which offers free roadways travel of up to 1,000 kilometers for poor families.

On this occasion, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh Subhash Sudha, thanked the Chief Minister and praised his dedication to benefiting the poorest of the poor. He said that there had been a longstanding demand for granting ownership rights to properties in urban areas, which the current government has fulfilled. He mentioned that after self-certification, all eligible people would be able to get their registrations done immediately. He commended the Chief Minister not only for making new announcements daily but also for implementing them. Through this program, the Chief Minister has provided significant relief to the eligible people.
Earlier, MLA Satyaprakash Jarawata also addressed the program, stating that previous governments only made announcements, whereas Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh has actually worked to make eligible people the owners of their properties.
On this occasion, Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh Vikas Gupta, detailed various aspects of the scheme and welcomed the Chief Minister to the program.
Former minister Rao Narbir Singh, BJP district president Kamal Yadav, former MLA Bimala Chaudhary, along with other dignitaries and district administration officials, were also present at the program. In addition, Ministers and MLAs from various districts of the state joined virtually.

Chandigarh, July 11- Haryana Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal stated that the state received the “Best State is Animal Husbandry State Award 2024” from central ministers in New Delhi due to its policies.
Sh. Kanwar Pal said that Haryana was honoured with the "Best Animal Husbandry State Award 2024" during the Agriculture Leadership Conclave sponsored by the "Agriculture Today Group" in New Delhi.
He shared that the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying Haryana is providing quality Veterinary Healthcare, Diagnostic and Breeding Services to the 71.26 lakh livestock population of the State through its well-knitted network of 2929 Institutions. Further, the Department is also running 70 Mobile Veterinary Units to provide 24x7 veterinary services to the farmers at their doorsteps along with a toll-free number 1962 Call Centre. To tackle livestock diseases the Department is implementing various vaccination programmes regularly against animal diseases like FMD+HS Dual Vaccination (only State in the country to do so), Brucellosis, Lumpy Skin Disease, PPR, Classical Swine Fever, ETV etc.
The department is also implementing Embryo Transfer Technology-In Vitro Fertilization (ETT-IVF)technique for genetic improvement of livestock of the State. The Department is also using Artificial Insemination Technique for the genetic improvement of livestock breeds. In this Technique, the calves of high-quality animals identified under the Departmental Scheme “IMDP-CDIC” are reared at the Department’s Semen Station and their semen is supplied to the entire State, which leads to the genetic upgradation of animals, the Minister added.
Sh. Kanwar Pal stated due to all these quality services provided by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Haryana, the milk production of the State has increased to 119.65 lakh tonne, leading to 1098 gram per capita per day milk availability against the national average of 459 gram. During, the last five years, the average per day milk production of Indigenous Cattle in the State has increased from 6.16 Kg to 7.06 Kg, similarly, the average per day milk production of Murrah Buffalo has also increased from 9.33 Kg to 10.53 Kg.
Sharing information in this regard a spokesperson of the Animal Husbandry & Dairy Department said that the "Best Animal Husbandry State Award 2024" was presented in New Delhi by Union Minister, Road Transport and Highways, Sh. Nitin Gadkari, Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Maharashtra Chief Minister, Sh. Eknath Shinde, and other dignitaries. On behalf of the State of Haryana, Director General, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Haryana, Dr. L.C. Ranga, received the award.
The National Awards Committee met on 2nd July in New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Former Governor of Kerala and Former Chief Justice of India, Sh. Justice P. Sathasivam and decided to present the Best State in Animal Husbandry Award 2024 to the State of Haryana for its outstanding work in introducing new programs and policies for the development of animal husbandry and dairy sector in the State, which have positively impacted the lives of millions of farmers and the rural people.

Manohar Lal will be the guest at the event celebrating completion of 8 impactful years of the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) Program. The event will take place on July 13 in Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi.
Giving this information, APSCM and Project Director, CMGGA, Dr. Amit Kumar. Agrawal told that the function will be attended by 22 associates of the graduating cohort who have worked in the state for the last 15 months, their parents, past associates, senior bureaucrats of Haryana and private sector partners of the program.
A film depicting 8 Years of CMGGA and a coffee table book highlighting the impact created by the program during this time also be released, he added.

Chandigarh, July 11 - In a state-level committee meeting of the Department of Urban and Rural Planning held here today under the Chairmanship of Minister of Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates, Sh. J.P. Dalal, the draft development plans of the Ratia Development Plan -2041 were approved. The MLA of Ratia, Sh. Laxman Napa, was also present on the occasion.
The Ratia Development Plan has been prepared for an estimated population of over 200,000 people by the year 2041. This plan will be published for the public, following which comments from the public will be sought.
The meeting informed that the proposed average residential density will be 250 persons per hectare. Out of the total 1667 hectares in this development plan, 649 hectares have been allocated for residential purposes and 116 hectares for commercial purposes. Similarly, 267 hectares have been designated for industrial purposes, 192 hectares for transportation and communication, 122 hectares for public utilities, 101 hectares for public and semi-public use, while 220 hectares have been reserved for open space.
It was further informed in the meeting that the current area is 575 hectares, and with the newly proposed 1667 hectares, the total urbanization area will become 2242 hectares. In the residential area, 9 sectors are proposed, 3 sectors in the commercial area, and 3 industrial areas. Likewise, in the transportation and communication sector, 2 part sectors, and under public utilities, 2 STPs and 2 water works are proposed.

Chandigarh, July 11- Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the tentative date for conducting the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (Height, Chest & Weight) of shortlisted candidates for the post of 5,000 Male Constable against Advt. No.06/2024, Category No.01. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) may start from dated 16.7.2024 (Tuesday) tentatively.
The details of shortlisted candidates, date & time of PMT and link to download the Admit Cards will be published shortly on the website of the Commission.
The candidates are advised to keep visiting Commission’s website regularly for further updates.
