Chandigarh, 21 October 2024: Reliance Jio, the world's largest private mobile data network operator has emerged a dominant winner with huge margins over its nearest rival in both 5G coverage availability and download speed experience categories in Punjab circle, which includes Chandigarh tricity as well. This has been revealed by the latest mobile network experience report, released by Open Signal, leading independent global standard for analysing consumers' connectivity experiences.

As per the data published in this report for Punjab, Jio wins big in the ‘5G network availability % of time’ category with an impressive score of 71.9 %, far ahead its competitors, with the distant second scoring just 28.4%.

In ‘overall network availability % of time’ category, comprising both 4G and 5G service segments as well, Jio has topped with 99.4% availability time in Punjab, the report said.
